Was having dinner with the girls yesterday nite at Borneo Rainforest, which highly recommended by ummi. This is my 1st time here, it's quite easy to find, it just located directly opposite of the Sunway Hotel.

I love the restaurant deco, which is mostly woods and greens. Dining area under the attap, surrounded by the palm, rocky mountain with ponds fed by cascading waterfall and teak wood furniture, successfully made the atmosphere difference from other cafe and nitespot.

The menu offers fusion foods. Ranging from Malay, Thai, Nyonya as well as Western food (for e.g pasta, and french fries), with reasonable price.
ummi and tania had the same order, the Thai fried rice.

Our starter, Loh Bak. The size is difference with the loh bak I had in penang. The portion is big, without toufu and pei dan.
ummi and tania had the same order, the Thai fried rice.

my fried glass noodle (dang hoon) with bitter gourd. Weird combination but the dang hoon is nice. I hate bitter gourd so I gave it all to tania and fei fei (wondering how come they will hearts on this weird vege).
The food is nice in the overall, but it's a bit oilly. I found out that it was quite ironic coz none of us ordered Borneo food however we are dining in the so-called Borneo cafe. The waiter is a bit too passion to us (I know we are as hot as the weather), especially to ummi. He kept approaching us and chit-chating with us during our meals. Haiyo...I know you are trying to be friendly with the guest, but can you please shut your mouth up while we were eating. It's annoying and awk coz we don't know wat kind of response we should give!!!!!!!
The washroom made me thinking of Flinstone. Yabadabadoooo..... It is reside in the cave and it's a bit creepy going there alone.....

ya, the environment will make u feel like u r hving ur meal rite inside the borneo rainforest.
